Gmail Active Users Translates 1.5 Billion people

Microsoft runs the Data Eraser "Bug" in Windows 10 Update

Previously, a number of Windwos 10 users complained about various document files and folders being deleted after installing the Windows 10 update version 1089 for October 2018.

This problem is caused by the algorithm that Microsoft implemented in the October update that intends to tidy up duplicate folders and user folders (documents, videos, music, photos) that are usually empty.

Despite its contents, the folder is still deleted by the system and causes data loss. Microsoft immediately pulled out the 1089 update after receiving successive complaints from Windows 10 users.

The Windows 1089 update was promised to bring major changes such as the Your Device feature, for ease of device management, and Windows 10 Feedback Tool, but it turned out to contain the fatal problem above.

WhatsApp Will Extend Time Delete Message?

     
WhatsApp scrolls a new rule for the message retrieval feature that has been sent alias 'delete for evryone'. From the WABetaInfo search results which often predict WhatsApp's newer features, the message deletion duration is extended to 13 hours 8 minutes and 16 seconds.

This update key is on the receiving side. So, when the sender tries to delete the message with the 'delete for everyone' feature, the message will only be successfully erased if the recipient receives the message revocation notification within 13 hours eight minutes and 16 seconds.
Notifications can be delayed due to a weak internet connection, the device is in Flight Mode, or is not active. If the new message recipient receives a message deletion notification over the duration, the message will not be deleted, and the recipient can still read the message.


For the sender, the duration is still the same. They can delete messages within one hour, eight minutes, and 16 seconds, as long as the recipient has not read the message. Since its launch, WhatsApp has further extended the duration of deletion of sent messages.
When launched last year, the message sender had to quickly pull the message with a maximum time limit of 7 minutes after being sent.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Will Have 10 GB RAM and 5G Connection

     
After confirming the Mi Mix 3 launch date, Xiaomi now confirms that the phone will have a variant with 10 GB RAM and 5G network support. This assurance was confirmed by Xiaomi through a poster uploaded on its official Facebook account.


In the poster, clearly written the words "Discover the Unknown with 10 GB RAM". Then on the side of the writing there is a form of cellphone that implies Mi Mix 3. Donovan Sung, Xiaomi Global's Product Management Director through his Twitter account also revealed this certainty. Without saying much, he just wrote, "5G speeds, 10 GB RAM, 8 more days," he said.

But until now it is not clear when the variant will be released.
Mi Mix 3 itself is predicted as a cellphone with a different design from most Xiaomi smartphones, as well as from other widescreen smartphones in general.
From a variety of leaks circulating in cyberspace, this phone is rumored to be putting the front camera and sensors on the hidden part so that it does not need a bangs or notch above the screen which is usually needed to accommodate the two components.
The Mi Mix 3 camera is hidden in the middle of the smartphone body which is separated into two parts, the screen and the back. To access it, the user simply moves the screen part down and the back part up.
This mechanism is similar to that of the Oppo Find X. The difference is that the Oppo Find X can shift automatically while Mi Mix 3 has to be manually shifted with a finger, similar to how the slider phone works.

Samsung Galaxy A9, the World's First 4 Camera Rear Smartphone

     
Samsung became the first smartphone vendor to release four-camera smartphones behind or quadruple. Galaxy A9 was officially introduced Thursday (11/10/2018) yesterday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
 
"We are very enthusiastic to realize this promise and debut the world leading camera technology smartphone with Galaxy A9" said the President and CEO of Samsung Electronics' IT & Mobile Communication Division, DJ Koh, at the launch of the Galaxy A7 and A9.

This smartphone targets millennials who like to capture moments and share them on social media. In total, the Galaxy A9 has five cameras, four engraved on the back, and a single camera for selfie needs.


Four rear cameras are arranged vertically on the left edge, which is accompanied by an LED flash underneath. Quadruple Galaxy A9 includes a 24 megapixel main sensor with an f / 1.7 aperture, a second sensor with a 10 megapixel resolution with an f / 2.4 aperture as a telephoto lens.

Then the third sensor has an 8 megapixel resolution with f / 2.4 openings with an ultra-wide angle lens and a last 5 megapixel resolution camera with f / 2.2 openings as a depth lens. Meanwhile, a single camera in front is 24 megapixel resolution with f / 2.0 openings. The Galaxy A9 has a full-screen 6.3-inch screen resolution plus a super AMOLED panel.
 

Shift to the back, in addition to the camera, there is also a fingerprint scanner sensor in the middle of the body. Samsung's innovation is not only about cameras, but in terms of design. Unlike the Galaxy A7 which was launched simultaneously, the Galaxy A9 has a prism color that looks shiny, supported by a combination of glass and metal materials.

There are colors available, namely Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink. The shiny back will reflect the shadow of the object in front of it. According to Il Park, Principal of Samsung Electronic's Product Designer Mobile Communications Business, the design of the Galaxy A9 is designed to be contemporary and fashionable to meet the needs of young people who are the target of the Galaxy A9 market.

Moving to the hardware sector, the Samsung Galaxy A9 is armed with the Snapdragon 660 octa-core 2.2 2.2 GHz processor and 1.8 GHz Quad. There are two capacity models offered, namely RAM 6 and 8 GB and internal memory 128 GB. Both internal memory can be expanded to 512 GB. Under the shell, the 3,800 mAh battery is installed.
 
This device will be run with the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. There is no official price tag yet. Samsung said that the new Galaxy A9 will be available next November.

The 9th Generation Intel Core Processor Supports Up to 128GB of RAM

     
Most Intel processors currently only support a maximum RAM capacity of 64 GB. For current standards, this capacity is fairly large and capable for multimedia use. However, recent reports say that Intel is preparing a ninth-generation Core processor that supports 128 GB of DDR4 RAM. According to Intel, newer and more compact RAM module technology allows for additional capacity.


"Memory controllers on the ninth-generation Intel Core processor will support 16 Gb (gigabit) die density DDR4 memory which allows the processor to support a total RAM capacity of up to 128 GB," Intel wrote in a statement. The intended die density RAM is a DIMM memory module that uses 16 Gb (gigabit) RAM chips as many as 16 pieces. Eight chips are planted on each side of the module, so it has a total capacity of 32 GB (gigabytes).

This type of RAM is made by Samsung.Now, by installing the large capacity memory module into the four DIMM slots on the motherboard, the computer will also have 128 GB of RAM (32 GB x 4).Intel is known to soon release a number of 9th generation Core processors this month, namely the Core i9-9900K, Core i7-9700K, and Core i5-9600K. But they will not directly support 128 GB RAM capacity.  

As summarized by KompasTekno from AnandTech, Wednesday (10/17/2018), Intel promises 128GB RAM support will be present for the 9th generation Core processors in the next few months, possibly in December, through an update.Looking at the price of a 64 GB RAM package (4 16 GB modules) alone is expensive, which is 550 US dollars (around Rp. 8.3 million), the possibility of a 128 GB RAM package (4 32 GB modules) will be priced more expensive. It could be that the price will touch 1,000 US dollars (around Rp. 15.2 million). 

This very large RAM capacity will be good news for some people, especially professionals who use desktop computers. Previously, 128GB of RAM capacity was only supported by Intel Xeon class workstations which cost much more than Intel Core series processors for desktops.

The 9th Generation Intel Core desktop processor also features unlocked "K" SKUs at each brand level and has up to 40 PCIe 3.0 lanes platforms for system enhancements with the aim of gaming, content creation and overclocking. Improvements in this generation include:
  • Enables more than 220 FPS in the three most popular global PC games.
  • With Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 which has a single-core frequency of up to 5.0 GHz, gamers can enjoy their favorite games up to more than 10 percent of FPS compared to the previous generation, and up to more than 37 percent of FPS compared to 3-year-old PCs.
  • Record games, do transcode, and stream while playing. With this type of megatasking, gamers can enjoy up to 11 percent more FPS than the previous generation, and up to 41 percent more FPS compared to a 3-year-old PC.
  • Video editing improved on Adobe Premiere * - Video editing can be done up to 34 percent faster than the previous generation, and up to 97 percent faster than a 3-year-old PC.
  • Overall system performance increased by 15 percent compared to previous generations, and up to 40 percent compared to PCs as young as 3 years.
  • Overclock these new processors with Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU), a current overclocking tool, and take advantage of additional thermal headroom with material thermal interface (STIM) solder.

To realize the full potential of the 9th Generation Intel Core processor, Intel introduced the Intel Z390 chipset. The Intel Z390 chipset has a high-speed integrated USB 3.1 Gen 2 and Intel Wireless-AC integrated with support for Wi-Fi Gigabit speed. The 9th Generation Intel Core processors are also compatible with all Intel® 300 Series chipset motherboards, which will expand consumer choice.
